About Seacycled Cards
Growing up on the coast in Sydney and my husband being from the Caribbean, our love for the beach and the ocean runs deep. A love that has naturally been passed down to our children.
During our trips to the beach we always take time to collect any rubbish that has been washed up. We use it as a chance to teach our girls about the importance of taking care of our planet and explain the damage that is being caused to our oceans and its creatures.
It was during one of our family beach clean ups that I had the idea of upcycling some of the plastic waste we had collected and using it to create greeting cards with a purpose. And with that Seacycled Cards was born.
My goal is for Seacyled Cards to be a fun and creative way to create a consciousness around the issues of ocean pollution and single use plastics. In what is such a huge world-wide problem, it often feels like there isn’t a lot you can do to help. But I truly believe that every little action counts. Even something as simple as gifting a card to someone you care about.
So together, let’s spread some love AND some awareness with Seacycled Cards!
Much love, Paige
