Below are some of our most commonly asked questions so that your shopping experience with Seacycled cards can be as easy and straightforward as possible!
Where are you located?
We are based in Sydney, Australia.
Can I order from outside Australia?
Being a new small business we are currently only shipping within Australia but aim to have a cards being sent around the world shortly!
When will my order be dispatched?
Our cards are put together by hand so to allow for this your order will be on its way to you within 3 business days of it being placed.
Can I change or cancel my order?
In most cases, yes – please contact us ASAP and we'll do our best to accommodate your change or cancellation if we haven't already commenced work on your order.
Please note it's not possible to change or cancel an order that has already been processed and dispatched.
Can I track my order/Where is my order?
This will depend of which shipping option you selected at the time of purchase. If you selected Stamped Letter Postage then you will be unable to track your order. If you selected Standard Shipping or Express Post you can check your order's delivery status and location via the tracking number emailed to you once we've shipped your order.
Due to the events of COVID-19 and its effect around the world, shipping speeds have been affected significantly. Once we've dispatched your order, it's in the hands of the carrier and out of our control. It's strange times at the moment – we appreciate your patience and ask that you allow an extra 1-2 weeks for your order to reach you.
If you still have concerns about your order, please contact us and we'll reach out to the carrier responsible for your order delivery and attempt to trace your parcel.
Do you use eco-friendly materials?
Yes! It is very important to us at Seacycled Cards for our business to be as earth friendly as possible. Our cards and envelopes are made from 100% recycled paper, and all packing and stickers are either biodegrade or recyclable. And of course all of the plastic details used on our cards are upcycled waste we have cleaned by hand from local beaches.
Where is the plastic used on your cards collected from?
The plastic used in our designs has so far mostly been cleaned from our local beaches in south-eastern Sydney. Being in lockdown we have been unable to travel for a while, but we always make an effort to collect any rubbish we see when we are out. Some gets used for our cards, and the rest is disposed of correctly.
The card I was interested in is out of stock. Will it become available again?
This depends. Some designs use very unique pieces of plastic waste that have washed ashore, making them one off cards. These designs are unlikely to return. Others are more easily replicated and are likely to come back in to stock eventually. It all comes down to what we find on our beach clean ups.
